About the Role
Reporting directly to the CFO, you will ensure the seamless execution of end-to-end payroll processes. Your duties will include:
- Managing and administering all payroll aspects related to complex employee transitions and life-cycle changes.
- Executing full end-to-end payroll processing across a diverse workforce, ensuring 100% accuracy and compliance.
- Applying expert knowledge to accurately calculate complex final entitlements and settlement figures, ensuring strict associated regulatory and tax compliance.
- Leading comprehensive month-end reporting, general ledger reconciliations, and third-party payment distributions.
- Assisting with system-related queries and troubleshooting within Workday, UKG, and PeopleSoft environments.
- Ensuring all processing meets the latest STP Phase 2 and Superannuation Guarantee legislative requirements.
About You
- Proven experience as a Senior Payroll Officer or SME within a large-scale corporate environment.
- Mandatory technical proficiency in Workday, UKG, or PeopleSoft.
- For the specialist stream: Extensive, hands-on experience with ADP platforms is essential.
- Expertise in Award interpretation and a thorough understanding of the current regulatory landscape, including wage theft compliance.
- High-level Excel skills and the ability to manage complex manual calculations when required.
- A collaborative mindset, with the ability to work 4 days in the office (Melbourne-based).
