We are looking for a Payroll Specialist on a short term contract for 3-4 months at a commercial organisation based in the CBD. They are a leading name in the industry and show significant growth by offering world class services to their customers.

It's a driven and collaborative environment, working in the finance division, where the colleagues are engaged, aware, friendly and value encouraging ideas. This role will assist the current finance team with the debt collection, prompt and timely processing of all invoices for suppliers, reconciliations, etc.
You will report to the Payroll Manager.
Your responsibilities:
Reporting to the Payroll Manager, your main responsibilities will be but aren't limited to:
- Fortnightly payroll processing including maintenance of leave entitlements, salary deductions, superannuation, year-end functions, PAYG reconciliation and workers compensation
- They have 400+ employees in the organisation
- Onboarding and terminations
- Subject matter expert on payroll matters and assist with budget preparation for payroll
- Transitioning from MicrOpay to UKG - supporting in that implementation
What experience will you have:
- Experience in the end-to-end payroll function
- MicrOpay and UKG system knowledge is a MUST
- Experience in preparing management, business and regulatory required reports
