New Senior Payroll Officer, working for a large international organization based in Alexandria.
This exciting new Senior Payroll Officer opportunity will focus on the end to end payroll processing of approx 500 staff on a fortnightly basis. You will work closely with the Payroll Manager and support the wider payroll team.
You will be working across a range of systems including ADP & UKG and this system experience would be a bonus.
This is a 6 month contract role with the opportunity to go permanent. The role is based in Alexandria and hybrid working is offered e.g. 3 days in the office and 2 days from home. There is on-site parking available and the office is close to public transport.
Salary on offer is between $50- $55/hour + super depending on experience.
Job responsibilities:
... - Prepare and process end-to-end payroll on a fortnightly basis for approx 500 staff across multiple business units.
- ADP & UKG system sausage and maintenance.
- First point of contact for any payroll queries and resolves any issues in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry awards.
- Review payroll journals and reconciliations as well as prepare and lodge payroll tax, super and work cover reports.
- Work closely with the wider payroll time and assist with any payroll related projects when required
Candidate skills & experience
- Prior experience working in a senior payroll capacity will be beneficial e.g. 3+ years of end to end payroll processing.
- Ability to interpret EBA’s & awards and must stay abreast of any changes. Experience process payroll for shift workers would be a benefit.
- Experience with ADP and/or UKG would be highly regarded
- Work collaboratively within a team environment.
