We are seeking a Mid to Senior or Principal level Mechanical Engineer to join a dynamic engineering team. The role is responsible for the implementation of projects within the EPC business unit, providing expert technical advice on mechanical design (piping and structural steel) from inception through to project completion.
The role
... - Lead a Mechanical project design team, engineers and draftspersons to carry out multiple projects
- Technical advice of mechanical design including preparation of design and detailed output documents
- Responsible for the detail design of all mechanical systems and sub-systems
- Support tender processes and provide basic estimate support
- Procurement of materials and equipment
- Customer, contractor and supplier liaison
- Provide support to testing and commissioning activities
To succeed
- A degree qualification in mechanical engineering or mechatronic engineering
- Senior/Principal level of mechanical engineering experience with CPEng certification
- Mid to Senior level 5+ yrs experience
- Industrial, heavy industry, power generation or similar experience
- Reporting writing skills
- Natural initiative and problem solving abilities
- Microsoft Office
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Drivers License
