Senior Manager – Claims (Personal Line Insurance)
We’re partnering with a top-tier insurer in Brisbane to appoint a Senior Manager to lead a claims transformation journey. This is a rare opportunity to challenge the status-quo, reshape the claim processes and systems, lead the designing and building of the best-in-class claim automation solutions, and influence the future of a growing portfolio.
You’ll work closely with project managers, business analysts and cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable, highly automated and AI driven claims solutions for the end-to-end claim value chain from lodgement to settlement, uplifting the entire claims experience.
This hands-on role is ideal for a strategic thinker with strong operational and systems expertise, and a passion for innovation, leadership, and customer outcomes.

What you’ll bring:
- Strong technical claims expertise, ideally in personal line general insurance with extensive experiences in claims digitalisation and automation for low value high volume claims
- Proven ability to define business requirements, lead claim system reviews and implement new technology
- Strong understanding of automation, self-service platforms, and AI in claims (e.g. how AI models like text and object recognition in photo and documents and predictive modelling can be used for real-time assessment and triaging)
- Operational expertise and a track record of successful change delivery
- Demonstrated people leadership experience in a dynamic environment
