Senior Legal Assistant – Insurance & Health | Melbourne
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Legal Assistant to join an award-winning national law firm specialising in Insurance & Health law. This is a full-time position based in Melbourne, offering a supportive team environment and genuine opportunities for career progression.
You will play a key role in supporting senior lawyers across a broad range of matters, with a focus on delivering high-quality legal and administrative support in a fast-paced, collaborative practice.
Key Responsibilities:
... Preparing legal documents and correspondence
Managing diaries, court filings, and document control
Liaising with clients, barristers, and other stakeholders
Billing and general file management
What We’re Looking For:
Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Legal Assistant, ideally within Insurance or Litigation
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Proficiency in legal software and Microsoft Office Suite
Must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident with full working rights
