Senior HR Advisor (6-Month Fixed-Term Contract)
We are proud to be partnering with a highly regarded organisation in the Northern Suburbs to support them in sourcing a confident and experienced Senior HR Business Advisor for a 6-month fixed-term contract.
This is a unique opportunity to join a well-established business during a pivotal period of transition. The organisation is preparing for a potential merger, and as such, this role will be critical in maintaining BAU HR operations while supporting broader change initiatives.
About the Role:
As the Senior HR Advisor you will act as a trusted advisor across the business – supporting leaders, teams, and individuals to deliver a positive employee experience and contribute to a culture of high performance. You’ll be responsible for delivering people-related programs and advising on key HR matters, while also playing a key role in developing and refining HR processes and frameworks.
You’ll work closely with the internal HR team, including the Office Administrator and Payroll Officer, and engage with stakeholders across all levels of the business.
Key Focus Areas:
End-to-end HR business partnering support across operational and strategic priorities
Coaching and advising leaders on performance, engagement, change, and employee relations
Supporting talent acquisition, onboarding, and retention strategies
Driving and embedding culture and engagement initiatives
Contributing to HR policy development and continuous improvement projects
Managing conflict resolution and promoting a positive, solutions-focused work environment
We are looking for an experienced and pragmatic HR professional who can hit the ground running. You will be hands-on, commercially astute, and capable of managing both day-to-day HR operations and strategic project work.
What You’ll Bring:
Degree qualified in Human Resources, Business, Law, or a related field
3–5 years of HR generalist experience, ideally within FMCG or manufacturing sectors
Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
Comfortable working in a matrixed environment with competing priorities
AHRI membership is desirable but not essential
Competencies:
Confident in navigating complex and fast-paced environments
Able to build strong internal networks and influence outcomes
Proactive, action-oriented, and solutions-focused
Skilled in managing and resolving conflict
Strong project management and implementation skills
