about the job

we’re seeking an experienced bookkeeper with prior experience in a bookkeeping or accounting firm environment. in this client-facing role, you’ll work closely with small to medium business clients, managing their day-to-day bookkeeping requirements and supporting their financial compliance.

reporting to the bookkeeping management team, you’ll take ownership of ap, ar, payroll processing, reconciliations, and business reporting tasks. you’ll also have the opportunity to contribute to process improvements and system integrations using tools like xero, myob, qbo, and dext.

skills & experience

• previous experience in a bookkeeping or accounting firm (essential)

• strong working knowledge of xero, myob, qbo, dext, and related software integrations

• experience with payroll processing, gst, super, payg, and workcover

• ability to manage multiple client deadlines and priorities with accuracy

• excellent communication skills and a proactive, team-oriented mindset
