Are you a seasoned security professional ready to take the next step in your career? We are seeking a dedicated Security Operations Manager to join our client's team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. In this critical role, you'll be at the forefront of our cybersecurity efforts, leading a team and championing a security-first culture across the organisation.
What You'll Do
You'll be responsible for overseeing our Security Operations and SAP Security teams, ensuring we're prepared for any and all security threats. Your key responsibilities will include:
Strategic Leadership: Provide strategic direction and guidance to the Security Operations and SAP Security teams.
Incident Response: Act as the escalation point for complex security incidents and lead our incident response program, including managing drills and assessments to ensure our readiness.
Security Advocacy: Promote and integrate security awareness into our company culture and strategic planning at every level.
Compliance and Oversight: Oversee security technologies to ensure they comply with our security policies and regulatory standards, and support the remediation of audit findings.
Stakeholder Engagement: Advise senior leaders and other stakeholders on security risks, trends, and solutions to support informed decision-making.
What You'll Bring
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
Experience: Several years of demonstrated experience in Security Operations or a related field.
Education: A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field is essential.
Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with risk management and security frameworks like ISO 27001 and NIST CSF, and a deep understanding of security principles, controls, and technologies.
Leadership: Proven ability to manage security incidents and lead teams with exceptional communication and budget management skills.
Certifications: Professional security certifications such as CISSP or CISM are highly desirable.
