SAP Security Support Consultant
About:
Our client, a prominent government organisation, is seeking an experienced SAP Security Support Consultant to join their team on a contract basis. This role is part of the SAP Security Support Team, focusing on maintaining business-as-usual operations and enhancing security posture.
You will be a key part of the SAP Security Support Team, responsible for managing incidents and changes within the BAU environment. You will contribute through security assessments, identifying risks, and developing effective mitigation strategies for SAP HANA systems.

Mandatory Requirements **PLEASE READ**
- Must possess an active AGSVA Baseline Clearance, with an AGSVA NV1 Clearance
- Must be an Australian Citizen.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage SAP security incidents and changes for BAU operations.
- Conduct security assessments, risk identification, and develop mitigation strategies for SAP HANA systems.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in SAP HANA application security.

Required Professional and Technical Expertise:
- Proven experience (2-3 years) as a Consultant or similar role in SAP HANA Application Security.
- Strong knowledge of SAP HANA system architecture, database security, and user authorisation concepts.
- Experience with SAP HANA security tools such as SAP HANA Cockpit, SAP Solution Manager, and SAP NetWeaver Administrator.
- Solid understanding of relevant industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA).
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Desired Attributes and Skills:
- Certification in SAP HANA or related fields.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA or Cloud Platform.
- Knowledge of threat modelling and secure coding practices.
- Familiarity with security testing tools and methodologies.
