We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Manager to lead our sales and profit generation, overseeing product sales, tip fees on managed sites, and expanding our outsourced material sales and waste, carting, and disposal divisions.
About the Role:
As Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the overall sales performance and profitability of key divisions. This is a leadership role where you will manage and inspire a team of Key Account Managers, a Customer Service Manager, and a Transport Manager. Your strategic vision will be crucial in developing and executing comprehensive sales strategies aligned with company objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement sales strategies, providing guidance to your team to ensure alignment with company goals. You'll play a vital role in supporting senior management in delivering our company's vision and values.
Team Management: Lead, mentor, and inspire a diverse sales team, fostering strong customer relationships and a culture of clear accountability. You will conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to enhance team performance
Sales Operations: Oversee daily sales operations to ensure targets are met. This includes collaborating with Key Account Managers and Customer Service to identify new business opportunities and optimize existing accounts. A key focus will be building out both the Outsourced Material Sales and Waste, Carting, and Disposal Sales Divisions. You'll also streamline processes to ensure seamless coordination across teams, making us the easiest company to deal with in the industry.
Communication: Foster an environment of open dialogue through transparent and respectful communication with all team members, enhancing collaboration and information flow.
Performance & Development: Establish KPIs aligned with organizational goals and regularly analyze performance metrics to drive improvement and celebrate success. You will support the professional development of your team through training and mentorship, cultivating a culture of continuous learning.
