About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented administrative professional for a Review Officer position within the South Australian public sector. Based at a convenient Pirie Street location, this role sits within the Regulation team. You will be responsible for supporting the administration of the Motor Vehicles and Road Traffic Acts, specifically focusing on driver sanctions, offence records, and authorized processing.
This is a fast-paced, process-driven position that requires a balance of high-volume phone-based customer service, meticulous record management, and strict policy adherence.
Key Responsibilities
Phone-Based Customer Service: Manage high-volume inbound phone calls and email inquiries from internal and external stakeholders regarding regulatory sanctions. Provide appropriate solutions, handle complaints, and follow up to ensure full resolution.
Data & Records Integrity: Maintain, record, and update critical offence and medical records accurately on the primary database.
Compliance & Support: Administer processes related to driving offences, the Demerit Points Scheme, the Graduated Scheme, and the Mandatory Alcohol Interlock Scheme.
Desktop Research: Assist with basic investigations, conduct desktop research, and prepare accurate reports and correspondence.
Mandatory Requirements & Compliance

Active Working with Children Check (WWCC)
Active National Police Check (NPC)
What We Are Looking For
Customer Service Excellence: Strong communication skills with a proven track record of handling high-volume customer phone interactions calmly, respectfully, and professionally.
High Attention to Detail: Exceptional written communication skills and the ability to maintain absolute accuracy when inputting data into complex databases.
Medical Administration Background (Highly Sought After): Previous experience handling medical records, health terminology, or evaluating medical fitness documentation is highly desirable due to the medical screening components of this desk.
Technical Proficiency: Confident utilising the Microsoft 365 suite (Word, Outlook, Teams) and adapting to specialised database environments.
