Contracts Manager – Research & Innovation
Randstad’s client in the education sector is looking for a skilled contracts professional with experience in research, government or education sectors to join their established team to support the delivery of high-impact research and innovation projects. The role is a short term contract with other potential long term opportunities.
What you’ll be doing:
- Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of research and commercial contracts
- Assess and manage legal and commercial risks
- Provide commercial advice to legal, finance and research teams
- Liaise with external partners including funding bodies and industry collaborators
- Support contract execution, disputes, and compliance processes
What we’re looking for:
- Solid knowledge of contract law with experience in R&D or research contracts
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate and manage complex agreements in a university, government or corporate setting
- Strong commercial acumen and stakeholder engagement skills
- High-level communication and advisory skills
