Receptionist | Leading ASX-Listed Engineering Firm | Potential for Permanent | North Ryde
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and proactive professional to become the face of a leading ASX-listed engineering company. Located in a modern North Ryde office, this role is initially a temporary position with strong potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for the organisation, playing a crucial role in creating a positive and professional impression for all visitors. The hours for this position are 7:30am - 3:30pm/9:00am - 5:00pm, Monday - Friday. Key responsibilities include:
Front-of-House Management: Managing all aspects of the visitor experience, ensuring the professional presentation of the reception, meeting rooms, and kitchen areas.
Communication Hub: Handling all incoming calls, taking messages, and directing them efficiently and professionally.
Administrative Support: Providing a wide range of administrative tasks, from managing mail and couriers to assisting team members with ad-hoc duties.
Guest Management: Welcoming all visitors, managing refreshments for guests, and booking couriers.
Skills and Experience
The ideal candidate will be a highly organised and professional individual with a passion for providing exceptional service.
Experience: A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar receptionist or administrative role.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite is essential.
Personal Attributes: The role requires a proactive, confident, and outgoing personality with strong attention to detail. The ability to manage time effectively and solve problems independently is key to success, as is the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
