Randstad Defence is looking for a Quality team leader to help sustain the performance of management systems, with particular emphasis on the continual improvement process and the identification and elimination of ineffective or
inefficient process activities.
The candidate must be an Australian citizen and already have or willing to obtain a NV1 security clearance and be eligible for ITAR assesment.
About the Role
- Allocate instructions and work tasks to the team, to ensure smooth workflows and timelines are met /
exceeded. - Provide mentoring and on the job training (OJT) as applicable for QA to assist management with
inspections and quality inspection log transactions / activities. - Responsible for the initial, proactive management of staffing issues and employee relations in line with
company policies and procedures. - Work with Incoming Goods Supervisor to manage effectiveness of inspections and its contribution to
warehousing efficiencies, including improvements using endorsed technology and process
improvements. - Coordinate the Non-conformance Reporting and Corrective Action systems to ensure the timely

resolution of nonconformities. Prepare Quality Documents, Records and Reports.
Provide guidance to other departments on the preparation of Quality Procedures.Provide guidance to other departments on the acquisition and processing of data to aid process and
product improvement.Develop and implement quality training and awareness programs.Supervise the activities of quality inspection staff.
About You
- At least 3 years of commercial experience in managing staff in a business with a certified quality
management system. - 3 years’ experience in an electronics field would be an advantage.
- Change Management through on-going professional development.
- Competent in use of Microsoft applications at an intermediate level, experience with MRP principals and
use of PRONTO would be an advantage but not required. - Strong Communication skills both oral and written at professional level.
- High attention to detail with strong data entry skills, strong analytical and process management skills.
- The ability to promote and manage change with a positive outlook.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a small team.
