After having been in operation for over 20 years, this developer builder is set on bringing the best of the best on board to complete their projects to the highest standard.Your RoleReporting and working closely with the senior management team, you will be responsible for ITPs & RFIs, be able to take responsibility of the Quality Control systems and general contract management. This role is critical to support the senior management team in keeping the projects on track and ensuring positive relationships are kept with local sub contractors and consultants. You will receive unique training and insight into both the development process (land acquisition, feasability DA and BA, product sales) and the construction process (procurement, scope writing, trade letting, negotiating, forming and maintaining sub contractor relationships, financial and cost control budgeting, project programming, project close out, quality and defects).Skills and ExperienceYour responsiblities in this role will include the following:Previous work experience within commercial construction (high rise) is advantageousRelevant Quantity Surveying or Construction Management or Engineering tertiary qualification (currently completing final year will also be considered)Reviewing drawings, generate and follow up with RFI’s and ITP’s from clients and sub-contractors.Provide and distribute reports as per agreed time frames for project summary & overview.Supervising and managing sub-contractors on site in accordance to scope of works.Conducting QA/QC inspections during concrete pours to relevant commercial and industrial clients throughout Australia.Report on weekly and monthly business KPI’s.Procurement of services, equipment and materials.Work in accordance with the organisation core values to demonstrate active involvement and leadership regarding safety, client and financial accountabilities.Ability to work independently and as part of a teamIn this company you will have room to grow and develop into an industry professional and be able to flourish within an ever growing team.
