      SYDNEY : EL1 ASSISTANT DIRECTOR CLINICAL OUTREACH AND GROUPSOpen Arms is Australia’s leading provider of mental health services for Australian veterans and their families. Work in collaboration with the Regional Leadership Team to oversee the provision of quality clinical services by external providers and the implementation and delivery of relevant treatment and psychoeducational groups and workshops to the clients and stakeholders of Open Arms in the region. ABOUT THE ROLE:Duties include:Provide advice to the Regional Director on service delivery opportunities, and requirements to enhance client outcomes and to ensure effective service delivery. Collaborate with the regional clinical leadership team to mitigate risk to client safety, and to enhance client access to quality evidence-based treatment and support services.Develop and maintain partnerships with service providers contracted to Open Arms to increase service delivery capacity and to ensure clinical governance standards and practices are maintained.Ensure clinical governance by undertaking Quality Assurance activities including audits, case file reviews, risk reviews, and contract compliance reviews. Undertake line management responsibilities for staff and be responsible for the recruitment, selection, induction, supervision, and performance management of clinical employees to ensure their ability to meet service delivery requirements:Actively contribute to Open Arms National projects, support the Regional Director to maintain strategic alliances with other business areas of the Department of Veterans’ Affairs, Defence, ex-service organisations, government agencies and other service providers. It establishes a network of accredited mental health clinicians, engaged through statutory registration, to support the delivery of services on behalf of Open Arms across Australia. Here is your chance to give back!ABOUT THE ROLE:As an Outreach Program Coordinator, you will work collaboratively with clients and internal and external stakeholders to enhance Open Arm’s ability to identify and respond to the needs of vulnerable and at risk veterans, current and former Defence Force members and/or their families.
