Key elements of the role:The Electrical Engineer will assist with the requirements generation and monitoring, system characterisation, integration engineering, testing / verification and validation, and technical certification of the integration systems.Additional responsibilities include:Generation of required Capability Life Cycle and Gate Approval artefacts and progression of other project deliverables such as Risk Reduction Activities and Studies.Plan and execute Risk Reduction Activities and produce subsequent studies.Requirements generation and monitoring.Contribute to system characterisation activities.Contribute to integration engineering activities.Collaboratively produce designs for vehicle integration kits and other systems.Plan for and conduct Developmental and Acceptance Test & Evaluation and Verification and Validation activities.Plan for and conduct Technical Certification activities.Contribute to RFI/RFT generation, review responses and create recommendations and evaluation reports.Contribute to acquisition Capability Life Cycle and Gate Approval artefacts.The successful candidate will have: Bachelor’s of Engineering (Electrical)Defence experience working above the lineExperience in integrating small systems (e.g. radios, anything with power requirements) onto vehicles / ships / planesUnderstanding of RF and Comms engineeringUnderstanding of software development and configuration management of softwareest and Evaluation experienceWillingness to travel domestically Defence clearance - NV1 required The Electrical Engineer reports to the Team Engineering Supervisor in an administrative and supervisory sense, however the Electrical Engineer will also be required to liaise with and receive direction from the Project Manager on a day-to-day basis.If you are interested, please 'Apply' now!
