We are currently seeking a Project Support Officer to provide critical secretariat, governance, and administrative support across key initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity to play a vital role in the delivery of transformative projects that impact education and workforce systems across the state.
Key Responsibilities:
... - Provide high-quality secretariat services including agenda preparation, accurate minute-taking, and end-to-end action tracking for governance and project meetings.
- Coordinate scheduling, logistics, and documentation for regular and ad hoc meetings across working groups and steering committees.
- Engage with stakeholders across internal teams and external vendors to ensure effective communication and documentation workflows.
- Manage version control and maintain accurate records using enterprise tools such as Content Manager, Teams, and SharePoint.
- Support project teams with reporting, financials, HR, procurement, and general administration.
- Use Microsoft Office Suite to prepare professional documentation and correspondence.
About You:
- Proven experience providing end-to-end secretariat support to senior leadership forums, working groups, or project boards.
- Skilled in document and records management systems, with exceptional attention to detail and time management.
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Comfortable working independently, managing multiple priorities, and adapting to changing needs.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Desirable Attributes:
- Experience in government or large-scale ICT project environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to support decision-making with clear, concise reporting.
Contract Conditions:
- Location: On-site at a Queensland Government office.
- Hours: Standard full-time hours (Monday to Friday), capped at 40 hours per week.
- Compliance: Criminal History Check required prior to commencement.
