Randstad is partnering with an established company to recruit a qualified and experienced Safety Advisor for a major project in North West Tasmania.
About the company
The business has been operating throughout Australia for over 25 years providing services in Civil Construction and Concrete Construction sectors and have seen continuous growth in this time, while becoming a specialist in major projects.
Their civil construction division takes on a diverse range of multi-million dollar projects that includes, but not limited to; civil infrastructure, marine and wharf infrastructure and tunnelling projects.
About the opportunity
As the Safety Advisor you will be working on a major construction project that is due to be completed in 2027 and will play a key role within the civil construction team to provide advice and support to Project Managers, Employees and Subcontractors to ensure that all works are being completed to a consistently high standard.
You will have a number of responsibilities, while working on this project that will include; developing SWMS, Project Safety Plans and Project Risk Assessments.
About you
This role will be ideal for those looking to take the next step in their career and to help continue building on the success and growth of the company.
You will have a minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role and worked on civil construction/commercial construction projects previously.
An attractive salary, including a car allowance will be offered to the successful candidate.
To be considered for this position you must;
- Hold a Certificate IV in WHS
- Hold a Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment or equivalent (desirable)
- Have a current First Aid & CPR Certificate
- Have a White Card
- Strong verbal and written skills
