Randstad is partnering with a leading business services provider to find a highly capable and focused Project Manager to join their dynamic team in Melbourne.
 
You will be the driving force behind the planning, execution, and delivery of mid-size projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to scope.  Your Core Responsibilities
As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management and successful delivery of projects, including:
- Project Leadership: Direct projects involving multiple internal and external stakeholders, serving as the subject matter expert.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and manage all critical project artifacts, including the project charter, integrated project plan, resource plan, and contingency plan.
- Financial & Risk Management: Validate financial forecasts, reconcile expenditures, and proactively assess and resolve all high-priority project risks.
- Governance & Compliance: Represent the project in various governance forums and ensure all projects adhere to company methodology compliance standards.
- Stakeholder Communication: Continually update business stakeholders on project status, publish regular reports, and manage key relationships effectively.
- Delivery Tracking: Develop, maintain, and report on the overall integrated delivery plan, tracking all project milestones to ensure success parameters are met.
What You Bring
We are looking for a highly versatile and focused individual with a blend of strong technical and interpersonal capabilities:
- Leadership & Execution: Strong planning, organisational, and leadership skills, including the ability to mobilise and motivate teams, set direction, resolve conflict, and execute with limited information and ambiguity.
- Communication & Influence: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate with clarity and precision at all levels, paired with strong influencing and negotiation skills for navigating a complex organisation.
- Problem-Solving: Exceptional problem-solving and critical-thinking ability to remove barriers and enable teams to achieve their objectives.
- Resilience: Comfortable operating under pressure, ambiguity, frequent change, or unpredictability, with a high degree of flexibility and responsiveness to input.
Experience & Education
- Experience: 5 to 10 years of proven experience in a similar Project Management role, with demonstrated success in delivering mid-size projects and partnering with senior stakeholders.
- Certifications: PMP/PMI certification or equivalent.
- Bonus Experience: Experience managing projects in the Transport, logistics or Infrastrucutre is a desirable advantage.
