📢 Contract Opportunity: 2 x Project Managers – ICT & Cyber Projects | Brisbane CBD | Contract to March 2026
We are currently seeking two experienced Project Managers to support a leading government-aligned Information & Technology team on a long-term contract basis through to 29 March 2026. These roles are based in Brisbane CBD, with a hybrid work arrangement (initial onsite 5 days/week, then 3 days onsite + 2 days WFH).

These two distinct Project Manager roles will report to different senior leaders within the technology division:
- Project Manager – Strategic IT Initiatives

Reporting to the Chief Information Officer (CIO), this role will oversee the delivery of key technology components for a number of strategic programs. It involves working with external vendors, so strong experience navigating government procurement processes is essential.
Project Manager – Cyber Security Projects
Reporting to the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), this position will focus on delivering IT and infrastructure elements associated with cyber security funding programs.
Both PMs will be responsible for coordinating procurement exercises, working closely with internal stakeholders, delivery partners, and selected vendors to manage end-to-end project delivery, including:
- Work breakdown structures and scheduling
- Requirements gathering and stakeholder engagement
- Risk and issue management
- Project artefact development and reporting
- Governance coordination and vendor management
âś… Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven track record managing IT and infrastructure-based projects, including scheduling and resourcing
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Office tools (Teams, SharePoint, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint)
- Proficiency with project management software such as MS Project, Jira, Trello, or similar
🌟 Highly Regarded:
- Familiarity with government project governance and procurement processes
- Certifications in PMBOK, PRINCE2, Agile, or equivalent
- Experience delivering cyber security, infrastructure or enterprise IT programs
- Prior work within government or public sector environments
📍 Work Arrangements:
- Start Date: Targeting 11 August 2025
- Contract End: 29 March 2026
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Work Mode: 3 days in office / 2 days remote (initial 5-day onsite for onboarding phase)
