As their project portfolio continues to grow, so does their team. This expansion brings an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join them.
Specialising in end-to-end Design & Construct (D&C) projects, our client works across a range of sectors, including Industrial, Education, Retail, and Hospitality, with project values reaching up to $15 million.
The Role
- Review and interpret technical drawings, reports, engineering documents, and specifications to ensure project specifications are met.
- Lead and manage commercial construction projects, overseeing all phases from planning to completion, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource management.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards to guarantee safety and quality.
- Supervise and coordinate a diverse project team, including engineers, subcontractors, and labourers, to maintain effective collaboration and communication.
- Provide regular and accurate financial updates and project progress reports to the management team
- Coordinate the necessary steps for obtaining clearances, permits, and client-specific authorisations required for project execution.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, offering updates on project status, managing deliveries, and resolving issues as they arise.
Experience/Qualifications Required
- Stable track record in a Project Management role with a commercial construction head contractor
- Minimum 5 years in a Project Manager role
- A natural ability to drive the project forward all the while maintaining and developing relationships with subcontractors, consultants and clients alike.
- A trade or tertiary qualification in construction
