Randstad are proud to partner with the leading provider of construction and strategic building maintenance services for the Queensland Government. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager to deliver high-quality building and infrastructure projects across the Wide Bay region.

What You’ll Do
- Coordinate and manage all aspects of building project implementation, including pre-design, design, documentation, contract administration, and post-construction phases.

Lead and collaborate with internal teams, consultants, and contractors to achieve scope, time, cost, and quality objectives.
Oversee procurement and provide expert contract coordination across various delivery methods.
Drive stakeholder engagement and negotiations to achieve value for money and strategic outcomes.
Monitor progress and performance through detailed reporting, audits, and variance control.
Support senior leadership with project planning, fee approvals, and billing processes.
Maintain strict adherence to quality assurance procedures and best practices.
What We’re Looking For
- Demonstrated experience delivering complex building projects, ideally in a government or large-scale environment.
- Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage external stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of procurement, contract administration, and construction methodologies.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver’s licence (mandatory).
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Project Management, Architecture, Engineering, Town Planning, or Quantity Surveying (highly regarded).

Requirements of this role include:
- Hold a Current Builders Supervisors Licence - Highly Regarded
- A current Open Class C Driver's Licence (Queensland) or equivalent.
- Criminal history check prior to appointment
It is expected that the successful candidate will possess strong oral/written communication, presentation and interpersonal skills. They will display initiative, attention to detail, and have the ability to work autonomously and unsupervised whilst contributing to the wider team's objectives of ensuring service delivery exceeds expectations.
