To support their expanding portfolio, they are now looking for an experienced and driven Project Manager to join their high-performing team, starting on a landmark $70M apartment development project.
While physical construction is slated to commence in August, this is an immediate hire, allowing the successful candidate the rare and highly advantageous opportunity to get fully across the project details, design, and procurement early. The Role:
As the Project Manager, you will take full ownership of a landmark $70M Apartment development, driving the project from pre-construction through to flawless delivery.
Key responsibilities include:
Comprehensive Project Leadership: Oversee all on-site activities, site personnel, and construction programming, utilising a professional, leadership-driven approach to people management.
HSEQ Champion: Provide unwavering leadership in health, safety, quality, and environmental management, ensuring absolute compliance with all legislative and company policies.
Resource & Stakeholder Management: Strategically manage subcontractors, suppliers, and labour resources to ensure key project objectives, timelines, and premium quality standards are met.
Performance Monitoring: Meticulously track project milestones, financial performance, and critical paths, providing regular, high-level updates to the senior executive team.
Experience & Qualifications Required:
Proven Track Record: A minimum of 5 years of stable experience in a senior management position, successfully delivering major commercial or multi-residential projects.
Project Capacity: Demonstrated experience managing and delivering complex builds valued up to $100M.
Australian Market Expertise: Comprehensive experience working directly for a reputable Australian Head Contractor (essential).
Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management/Engineering, or an equivalent structural trade background.
Tech-Savvy: Strong proficiency in modern construction software and systems, including Procore, Jobpac, and MS Office Suite.
Team Development: A proven ability to mentor, develop internal talent, and effectively manage large, diverse project teams within a Tier 1 or Tier 2 commercial construction environment.
