This role is best suited for a driven, enthusiastic Project Coordinator to develop into Contract Administrator with supportive, open environment, where growth and development of all is key to the company's pillars.
You will provide essential support to the project team in managing the contract administration life cycle, focusing on accurate documentation and processing to help ensure the project is delivered efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Your key responsibilities will include:
Assisting with the administration of project contracts, including head contracts and subcontracts.
Processing and tracking subcontractor progress claims, payments, and variations under the supervision of a Senior Contract Administrator.
Coordinating the issuance and tracking of project documentation such as EOT's, RFIs, and site instructions.
Maintaining and organising accurate project documentation and contract records, ensuring all files are current and complete.
Supporting the negotiation and resolution process for minor contract issues or disputes as directed.
Collaborating closely with the Project Manager, Site Team, and Senior Contract Administrator to ensure seamless contract flow and successful project delivery.
About You:
To be considered for the position, you will have
Demonstrative experience in a support role within the commercial construction industry as a Cadet, Assistant Contract Administrator, or Project Administrator
Basic understanding of standard Australian construction contracts and legal frameworks.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional approach to correspondence.
Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
A positive mindset, keen to learn, and a willingness to take ownership of tasks.
Exposure to or willingness to learn construction management software
