About the Role
As a Program Analyst, you will be a key enabler of success for our Delivery Office and Program Managers. Your work will ensure high-quality decision-making through insightful analysis, risk and schedule management, procurement coordination, and exceptional information management practices.
You will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of project professionals and act as a pivotal support in keeping project boards, workshops, and stakeholder engagement running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality analysis of program and project financials to support budget creation and forecasting.
Compare actual spend against forecasts and generate actionable financial reporting outputs.
Manage procurement activities including purchase orders for labour (external workers) and non-labour (Statements of Work), ensuring compliance and risk mitigation.
Develop, maintain, and report on integrated schedules across multiple workstreams and dependencies.
Monitor project health by analysing milestones, work completed, and dependency status.
Support risk and issue management in alignment with the Risk Framework.
Assess risk mitigation effectiveness and contribute to residual risk evaluation.
Maintain accurate and timely program and project logs, ensuring strong governance and oversight.
Assist in preparing change impact assessments, project board reports, and decision-making documents.
Provide logistical and administrative support for meetings, workshops, and project governance boards.
Uphold high standards in information management and record keeping.
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience in project or program support roles (e.g., Program Analyst, PMO Analyst, or Project Coordinator).
Strong financial analysis and reporting skills.
Experience in procurement and contract management (labour and non-labour).
Solid understanding of risk, schedule, and dependency management in complex project environments.
Excellent organisational, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic team and manage multiple priorities.
This is an initial 12 month contract, and has to be Brisbane based, but there is flexibility, its typically 1 / 2 days a week in the office.
