- Develop strategies to address the following objectives:
- Grow the product site installation numbers
- Obtain site feedback about overall use of the product and leverage feedback to increase the product usage
- Create 3-year product road map
- Drive and partner closely with all business units across the Agency to capture insights and enable the product uplift for healthcare providers
- Work closely with Product Owner to ensure delivery of fit-for-purpose and risk-free product solution
- Develop and create strategy to reach out and influence government agencies, jurisdictions, clinical peak bodies and medical software developers to showcase the product value to the health eco-system
- Provide regular, timely and quality status reporting and resource allocation, as follows:
- Accurately update Branch Report in advance of the fortnightly meeting
- Participate in resource planning and update of resourcing allocation across various initiatives and tasks
- Product Roadmap monthly updates per agreed timelines
- Project Status Reports timely and quality completion
- Deliver a reliable and dependable HIPS data reporting, research, insights and benefits facility
- Ensure to successfully implement National Products Front Door Process
- Ensure delivery and release of the product publications as scheduled
- Manage demos for the product products/features and ensure that audience are provided with valuable insights to consider the product installation and usage
- Attends monthly Sprint Planning meetings with product vendor on a monthly online basis with quarterly face-to-face
- Approve design decisions
- Adjudicate on product discussions and outcomes
- Approve PBI requirements
- Respond to general questions
- Assign to assurance leads as appropriate
- Approves all releases
- Approves/endorses new release features
- Tracks spend and manage spend and receipting invoices in a timely manner
Essential criteria
1.Relevant skills, knowledge and education/qualifications at the EL1 level
2.Knowledge and experience of applications development methodologies and the software development lifecycle.
3.Strong stakeholder management skills, proven ability to establish relationships and lead discussions with various partners and executives.
4.Demonstrated compliance/alignment with the Statement of Requirement, including developing and influencing business strategy and product strategy.
Desirable criteria
1.Certification in Product Management
2.Health and government project experience
3.Experience in Information Technology, primarily in systems development and maintenance, coupled with tertiary qualifications in Computer Science or a related discipline
