Product Manager VIC – Autoimmune & Infectious Diseases Portfolio (AID)

As they expand their footprint in Australia and New Zealand, they are looking for a commercially driven and clinically knowledgeable professional to lead a newly created portfolio in Autoimmune and Infectious Diseases (AID).
The Opportunity
As the Product Manager for AID, you will have the unique opportunity to shape the regional presence of a critical and high-growth product segment. This is a strategic, end-to-end role where you will define the go-to-market strategy, drive commercial adoption, and act as the regional champion for the portfolio across ANZ.
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Strategy & Leadership: Develop and execute the ANZ go-to-market strategy, conducting deep market and customer analysis to identify growth opportunities.
- Product Launch & Lifecycle: Lead the local introduction of new products, from initial launch planning and team training through to post-launch performance monitoring and portfolio rationalisation.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain influential relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), infectious disease specialists, and major public/private pathology networks.
- Commercial Support: Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Technical Support, and Regulatory teams to support tender submissions and ensure seamless product adoption.
- Compliance & Regulatory: Ensure all promotional activities and messaging align with local regulatory standards and global corporate policies.
Who We Are Looking For
We are seeking a professional who understands the intersection of clinical science and commercial strategy. You should have a deep familiarity with diagnostic laboratory workflows and the Australian healthcare environment.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Scientific Foundation: Postgraduate qualifications in Biomedical Science, Immunology, Microbiology, or a related field.
- Industry Expertise: A minimum of 5 years of experience within the IVD, diagnostics, or medical device industry.
- Commercial Track Record: Demonstrated success in product management or strategic marketing, specifically within the autoimmune, infectious disease, or serology space.
- Strategic Capability: The ability to analyse complex market data, develop robust business cases, and drive cross-functional execution.
- Communication Skills: High-level verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with clinicians and laboratory professionals
