Role Purpose
We are seeking a Procurement and Logistics Lead to coordinate procurement activities and manage the end-to-end logistics of critical ICT infrastructure.
This role is instrumental in ensuring timely and accurate delivery of technical equipment across three tranches, supporting efficient installation and setup within communications spaces at each site.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain the Bill of Materials (BoM) for all ICT technology components.
Raise and manage purchase orders for critical ICT equipment in line with departmental procurement processes.
Monitor procurement status, identifying and addressing equipment gaps or quantity mismatches throughout the project lifecycle.
Log service tickets and coordinate dependent technical work with internal technical teams.
Liaise with vendors to coordinate secure and timely deliveries to each school site.
Specialist / Technical Expertise
Demonstrated experience in education-sector procurement, particularly within a government department or school infrastructure context.
Strong background in project logistics and stakeholder management, preferably with experience in large-scale school or ICT projects.
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
Proven ability to problem-solve, adapt to changes, and escalate risks effectively.
Highly developed communication skills and a strong eye for detail and accuracy.
Willingness to travel to sites as needed to ensure project delivery standards are met.
