About our client:
Randstad is pleased to once again be partnering with our client who are reputable and well-known Queensland business. Due to an ongoing HRIS project they are looking for a Payroll Project Officer to join the project team while also providing assistance to their BAU payroll team. This role will primarily be focused on project support, with a 70/30 split between project responsibilities and payroll processing. This is a 6-month temporary contract role with an immediate start on offer and the potential to extend.

About the role:
Reporting into the Project Manager, your duties will include:
- Support onboarding of third-party providers and ensure accurate data flow
- Resolve onboarding issues related to third-party personnel
- Partner with P&C Lead to enhance the third-party onboarding process
- Ensure smooth handovers across systems, tech setup, and compliance
- Maintain onboarding guides and process maps
- Support adoption of system changes and manage exceptions during outages
- Manage transfer of Branch Network employee records
- Ensure documentation is accurate and complete
- Provide general support across relevant projects
- Support payroll team with BAU payroll processing
About you:
- 5+ years of experience in payroll
- Project support exposure
- Experience in a medium - high volume environment
- High level of attention to detail
- Full and unlimited Australian working rights
