This is a specialist role focused heavily on payroll remediation and ensuring accuracy across historical payments. Key responsibilities will include:
- Leading complex payroll remediation tasks, ensuring all historical payment issues are identified and corrected accurately and efficiently.
- Interpreting through sophisticated payroll models, using Advanced Excel for data analysis, reconciliation and calculating remediation amounts.
- Extracting, manipulating, and reporting on large datasets from the payroll system.
- Applying expert knowledge of various Enterprise Bargaining Agreements (EBAs) to interpret pay rules and validate payment calculations.
- Generating detailed and accurate reports for senior stakeholders and compliance purposes.
- Collaborating with various internal teams (HR, Legal, Finance) to drive the remediation project to completion.
About you
We are seeking a highly analytical and experienced Payroll Analyst with a proven track record in remediation or complex compliance environments. You'll bring:
- Essential, in-depth experience with the SAP payroll system.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and data modeling for analysis and reconciliation.
- Strong, demonstrable experience in interpreting and applying Enterprise Bargaining Agreements (EBAs).
- Expertise in data extraction, manipulation, and reporting from large payroll systems.
- A meticulous and highly accurate approach to work, with a commitment to compliance.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for technical reporting and stakeholder engagement.
