About the Role: Reporting to the Coordinator Payroll, the successful candidate will be responsible for assessing historical payroll data and turning it into actionable insights that support financial and business decision-making. This role is focused on leveraging payroll analytics to achieve outcomes in payroll remediation and compliance. You will work closely with HR and Finance teams to ensure data accuracy and recommend solutions aligned with organisational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyse payroll data to identify trends, gaps, and areas for remediation.
Develop and deliver payroll analytics reports.
Prepare reports and insights to support decision-making and process improvements.
Collaborate with Payroll, People & Partnerships, and Finance teams to ensure accurate reporting and remediation.
Ensure compliance with relevant payroll legislation and policies.
Support the development and maintenance of payroll analytics tools.
Maintain a high standard of data integrity and confidentiality.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Demonstrated experience in payroll analytics or a similar analytical role.
- Demonstrated experience with the Chris21 payroll system.
- Ability to coordinate multiple analytics projects simultaneously.
- Experience in developing and maintaining analytics procedures.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- A strong understanding of payroll processes and compliance requirements.
Screening Requirements: Successful applicants will be required to undergo the following pre-employment checks:

- Working With Children Check (or ability to obtain one)
- Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a valid work permit or visa.
