The preferred candidate will be responsible for carrying out test scripts and ensuring UKG meets all the client requirements and ensures functionality and accurate quality of the newly implemented UKG system. and managing all elements of payroll and its associated processes for our client.
You'll work closely with key internal & external stakeholders and you will support the Payroll Manager with any other related ah hoc tasks. Having experience working with UKG is highly regarded for this role as well as the ability to accurately interpret EBA’s and Awards.
This is a 3 month fixed term contract role with the opportunity to be extended. The role is based in Macquarie Park and hybrid working is offered (3 days from home, 2 days from the office). The role is offering $140,000 - $160,000 + super depending on the candidate's experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and execute test scripts for various UKG models including T&A, scheduling, leave management & Accruals.
- Conduct parallel testing to validate changes / new implementations.
- Identify, document and track any systems errors
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with developers and business analysts to ensure any errors are understood and resolved.
- Perform any retesting of errors.
- Ensure test coverage is in alignment with project goals.
- Be part of the software development life cycle from analysis to deployment.
- Provide regular updates on testing to project stakeholders.
Selection Criteria
- Proven experience in function testing & working with UKG or similar platforms.
- Hands on experience with various UKG platforms e.g. T&A, accruals, etc.
- Experience in creating and executing various types of testing
- Proficiency with test management tools
- Experience with the Payroll & HR function
- Strong ability to interpret EBA’s & Awards
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
