We're seeking a candidate with strong administration skills for an immediate, two-month assignment (with possibility of extension) with a state government department in Nerang. This full-time role (36.25 hours/week) pays $49.40 per hour plus superannuation.
In the role of Project Management Support Officer, you will provide high level administrative support to the operational team staff.
Key Responsibilities:
... - Provide accurate, timely and confidential support to the Operational Unit teams. Including preparation and distribution of project and other documentation, project document control, supervision and maintenance of the Operational Unit's project records management system and human resourcing support.
- Ensure the efficient management of all project correspondence so that all issues are prioritised and directed to the appropriate officer for action to ensure project timelines are met.
- In liaison with project managers, monitor project expenses and invoices as required, including administration of purchasing practices such as corporate card transactions, travel and cab charge costs.
- Assist in the completion of monthly reports in consultation with the project managers and participate in operational plan activities and project work as required.
Ideally you will have:
- Proven experience in an operational/administrative position.
- Immediate availability
- Employee event planning experience is highly desirable.
- Construction/infrastructure background is highly desirable but is not essential.
- Strong understanding of systems and programmes.
- Strong communication skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Strong time management skills.
- C-Class Drivers Licence.
- Full work rights.
