We are seeking Waste Offsiders for immediate starts based out of their sites in Eastern Creek, Greenacre, Mascot, and Campbelltown. The Role
As a Waste Offsider, you'll be a key part of the team, working outdoors in all weather conditions. Your daily responsibilities will include:
Collecting kerbside waste, recycling, and green waste.
Running behind the waste truck to load bins into rear loaders.
Operating bin lifters and compactors safely.
Following all safety protocols.
Working closely with your driver and adapting to route changes.
Requirements
Physically Fit: This is a demanding role, requiring you to run/walk up to 15-20 km a day and lift bins up to 30 kg.
Reliable Transportation: You must have your own reliable way to get to the depot for early starts.
A strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
The ability to pass a mandatory pre employment aessessment, drug & alcohol test and a police check.
Experience in waste collection or other physically demanding outdoor work is a bonus but not essential.
What We Offer
A highly competitive pay rate of $38 - $43 per hour, plus superannuation, allowances, and penalties.
Stable, consistent Monday to Friday shifts with early start times (3:00 AM - 5:30 AM).
