We are looking for a dedicated Settlements Officer to join a leading mortgage broking company in South Melbourne. In this full-time role, you'll be instrumental in ensuring a smooth and stress-free settlement process for our clients.
What You'll Be Doing:
Managing the entire settlements process from formal approval to the final settlement date.
Liaising with clients, solicitors, lenders, and other key stakeholders.
Maintaining meticulous records and ensuring all documentation is accurate.
Providing outstanding customer service to clients.
What We're Looking For:
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a settlements role, ideally within banking or financial services.
Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
The ability to work effectively under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
A solid understanding of property and settlements legislation.
