This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated Mechanical Fitter to join our night shift team on a unique 4-days-on, 4-days-off roster, offering work-life balance so that you can focus on the things that really matter

The Opportunity:

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Night Shift Mechanical Fitter for maintenance and breakdown support. We are particularly interested in candidates with experience from the Recycling, Food, or Pharmaceutical,FMCG industries, as your skills in preventative and planned maintenance will be highly valued.

What You'll Bring:

• Australian Qualified Cert III in Mechanical Trade (MUST HAVE)
• Proven experience in mechanical fitting, maintenance, and breakdown scenarios.
• Background in the Recycling, Food, or Pharmaceutical,FMCG or other production related industries is highly desirable.
• Complete planned maintenance tasks.
• Fault diagnosis and breakdown repairs.
• Complete repairs or modifications as requested by your supervisor.
• Mechanical Fitting maintenance activities related to Clay extrusion equipment, mixers, crushers, conveyors, gearboxes/drive assemblies, bearings, rollers etc.
• Basic weld repairs.
• Ability to perform preventive maintenance and machine maintenance.
• A Clear Police Check will be required for this position.

Hours & Salary:

• Shift: Night Shift (4 days on, 4 days off roster - providing extended days off!)
• Salary Package: $130,000 per annum (plus superannuation)
• Occasional overtime available if desired.
