In this role, you'll be responsible for a full range of mechanical fitting and hydraulic duties on a diverse range of equipment. While most of your work will be performed on-site, there will be occasional requirements to work at customer premises.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Performing a full range of mechanical fitting and hydraulic duties on various equipment.
- Installing ancillary equipment associated with installations.
- Completing jobs to high standards, within specified requirements, time, and cost constraints.
- Minimising rework through thorough inspections.
- Accurately completing documentation including timecards, service reports, and parts requisitions.
- Advising the Workshop Supervisor/Manager of any potential problems or delays.
- Actively contributing to team performance by sharing knowledge and expertise.
- Ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication, problem-solving, and providing updates on job progress.

What You'll Bring:
- Relevant trade qualifications (e.g., Diesel, Mechanical, or Hydraulic Fitter).
- Valid Australian Driver's Licence.
- Demonstrated experience in a similar mechanical fitting and hydraulic role.
- Experience working in a commercial Truck environment strongly desired.
- Sound knowledge of hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical fault finding, servicing, repair, and testing/commissioning.
- Ability to read and interpret hydraulic schematics.
- Experience with hydraulic hose manufacturing.
- Basic understanding of transport equipment (e.g., cranes, tippers, tail lifts) and electrical wiring.
- A demonstrated "safety first" mindset.
- Competence with general Windows-based PC environment (Word, Excel) and an ERP system.
- Excellent communication, time management, and organisational skills.
- Ability to work effectively both within a team and autonomously.
