Martech Architect | 6-Month Contract | Melbourne CBD | 3 Days On-Site
A large Australian organisation is undergoing significant investment in its marketing technology capability. This is a hands-on architecture role where you'll shape the martech ecosystem from the ground up, working closely with digital, data, and marketing stakeholders to define and deliver a scalable, integrated platform.
What you'll be doing:
- Designing and owning the martech architecture, including platform selection, integration patterns, and roadmap
- Translating business and marketing requirements into scalable technical solutions
- Leading discovery and current-to-target state architecture across the martech stack
- Defining integration patterns between martech platforms, data layers, CRM, and digital channels
- Engaging with senior stakeholders across marketing, digital, and technology to align on direction
- Producing architecture documentation, solution designs, and decision artefacts suitable for executive audiences
- Mentoring and guiding delivery teams on architecture standards and best practice
What we're looking for:
- Proven background as a Solutions or Enterprise Architect with a focus on martech or digital platforms
- Hands-on experience with martech tooling such as CDP, CRM, marketing automation, personalisation, or analytics platforms
- Strong integration architecture skills across APIs, event-driven patterns, and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Experience working in or alongside marketing functions, understanding campaign, data, and channel requirements
- Ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments and communicate technical concepts clearly
- Prior exposure to retail, health, or consumer-facing organisations highly regarded
