This team is behind every successful market trade - working closely with traders, tech teams, risk and compliance to get things done right the first time. Whether it’s trade matching, settlement, or regulatory reporting, this crew keeps the wheels turning and the business moving.
About the Role
This is a 6-month contract within the bank’s Market Operations team, helping process applications for customers opening trading accounts. You’ll gain exposure to the real workings of a large financial institution - and be supported with training and mentoring along the way.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Processing new trading account applications (mostly individual and joint, with some super fund and trust accounts)
- Handling sensitive customer information with accuracy and attention to detail
- Supporting both regular operational tasks and project work (non-BAU) tied to a BNB initiative
- Working toward team targets
- Starting in the office full-time for training and collaboration (first 3 months), with potential for hybrid/WFH flexibility after that based on performance
What They’re Looking For:
- Interest in finance or financial markets - no formal degree needed
- Recently graduated with a degree in commerce or economics is ideal, however, not essential
- Prior experience in retail, hospitality, or call centres is a big plus
- Someone who’s detail-oriented, motivated, and career-driven
You’ll be joining a friendly team of around 15-16 people, all working toward shared goals and supporting each other. Full training is provided in the first few weeks, so it’s a great place to learn and grow.
