We are seeking an experienced L&D professional in a mining or industrial setting who thrives on building capability and is looking for a challenging yet rewarding opportunity with work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Training Management: Identifying, planning, coordinating, and delivering site-specific training, including liaising with stakeholders and managing external vendors for course delivery.
- Content Development: Designing, reviewing, and updating L&D materials (presentations, guides, assessments) and providing learning design expertise to subject matter experts.
- Compliance & Systems: Conducting training needs analyses using data and systems to ensure competency and compliance, and maintaining course documentation, assessments, and schedules in the LMS (Workday Learning).
- Onboarding & Support: Coordinating and delivering inductions for new employees and contractors, and supporting existing operators and maintenance technicians in achieving their training goals and progression.
- Please note onboarding will require some time in the Perth office and occasional travel to other sites or corporate offices for specialised training or team initiatives, as required.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Learning and development (L&D) expertise specifically within a mining or industrial setting.
- Key qualifications include a TAE40116 or TAE40120 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
- Strong communication, coordination, and scheduling skills, with proven ability to engage and influence stakeholders across all business levels.
- Highly proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and understand learning management systems.
- Demonstrated experience in designing, developing, and delivering a variety of operational training courses and materials (e.g. isolations, permit issuing, hot work, dust awareness, fire extinguisher) is essential.
