We are seeking a hands-on Landscaping Supervisor to lead the delivery of in-house landscaping works across residential and civil development sites in Melbourne’s South East.
In this full-time, permanent role, you’ll be working directly with a leading developer (not subcontracted) and take charge of both soft and hard landscaping across new estates. You’ll manage a small internal team, coordinate materials and trades, and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities
... Oversee all on-site landscaping activities across multiple subdivision/civil projects
Supervise and lead a small internal landscaping crew
Complete and manage a mix of soft and hard landscaping works (turf, planting, paving, retaining walls, irrigation)
Interpret landscape plans and ensure works meet quality and compliance standards
Coordinate materials, deliveries, equipment, and external trades as needed
Liaise with internal construction teams to align landscaping schedules with build timelines
Monitor safety standards, costs, and site progress
Provide hands-on support when needed — especially early on
Skills & Experience
Strong experience in landscape construction — ideally across both residential and civil projects
Proven leadership skills as a Supervisor, Leading Hand, or Foreman
Competent in reading and interpreting landscape/construction plans
Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
White Card and current driver’s licence (mandatory)
Cert III in Landscape Construction or similar (highly regarded)
Tickets in machinery operation (e.g. skid steer, excavator) are an advantage
