About the role:
Are you an experienced Recruitment Consultant looking for an exciting new challenge? We are seeking a highly motivated Recruitment Consultant - Trades & Labour to join our team in Launceston, Tasmania. This full-time position will see you playing a vital role in sourcing and placing top talent across a range of trades and labour roles and building long-lasting relationships with local business.
What you'll be doing:
- Proactively source and screen high-quality candidates for a variety of trades and labour roles
- Manage the entire recruitment lifecycle, from mapping out potential clients, connecting with passive candidates to post placement after care
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local business
- Deliver an exceptional candidate experience throughout the recruitment process
- Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly recruitment targets
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our recruitment processes and practices
What we're looking for:
- Experience as a Recruitment Consultant in an agency environment or a Business Development background, ideally within the trades and labour industry
- Demonstrated ability to source, screen, and place high-calibre candidates
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients and candidates
- Excellent organisation and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and multitask
- A proactive, resilient, and results-oriented mindset
- Familiarity with relevant recruitment and HR software systems
