About The Role
Reporting to the Corporate Communications Manager, the Internal Communications Advisor will play a strategic role in shaping the employee experience during a significant period of transformation. This is not a support function; you will be a key driver in connecting our people to the company's purpose, strategy, and values.
You will be responsible for developing and delivering impactful communication strategies and campaigns across multiple internal channels. Working collaboratively with teams across the business, including Brand and People and Culture, you will ensure that messaging is clear, consistent, and inspiring. This role is crucial for fostering a confident, informed, and engaged workforce as the organisation evolves.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage engaging content across various internal channels, including email, the intranet, and staff events.
Take a leading role in the upcoming refresh of the company intranet, transforming it into a vital hub for information and employee connection.
Coordinate and deliver key internal events, such as online and in-person town halls, from preparing presentations to managing logistics.
Track, analyse, and report on the effectiveness of internal communications campaigns, using data to drive continuous improvement.
Build and maintain trusted relationships with internal stakeholders, providing expert advice on effective communication strategies.
Desirables
Proven experience in managing creative, end-to-end internal campaigns that demonstrate behaviour change and measurable outcomes.
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality initiatives on time.
A collaborative and influential communicator, skilled in building strong relationships and partnerships at all levels of an organisation.
Experience in successfully planning and delivering a range of staff events, including virtual, hybrid, and in-person formats.
A strategic mindset with the ability to identify trends and opportunities to enhance staff engagement and communication practices.
Qualifications
A minimum of five years of dedicated experience in an internal communications role.
A tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in Communications, Marketing, Digital Media, or a related field.
Proficiency with SharePoint as an intranet platform and email marketing tools such as Campaign Monitor.
Familiarity with graphic design tools, specifically Canva and the Adobe Creative Suite.
Demonstrated experience creating compelling content for a variety of internal digital channels.
