In this hands-on internal communications role, you’ll:
Deliver clear, engaging content across internal channels – newsletters, alerts, bulletins and more
Own and optimise the internal SharePoint site – manage content, permissions, user experience and structure
Create and schedule comms across digital platforms including Yammer, screens, internal signage and email
Work with multiple stakeholders to support change communications, campaigns, staff events and key business updates
Lead internal engagement initiatives like NAIDOC Week and Movember – from planning to promotion
Tools & Technical Skills You'll Use:
Microsoft SharePoint – content management, version control, layout editing, site customisation
Yammer or Viva Engage – for social-style internal communication
Internal CMS/email platforms – e.g. Mailchimp, Campaign Monitor, or Outlook tools
MS Office Suite – strong use of Word, PowerPoint, Outlook; basic Excel
Digital content tools – basic design (Canva, Adobe Express) or video editing a plus
Comms metrics & reporting – basic analytics to track engagement and optimise content
About You:
3+ years in internal communications, Public Relations, or corporate comms
Exceptional writing skills with the ability to translate complex info into simple, engaging messages
Comfortable using and managing communication platforms
Proactive, organised and happy to work with minimal supervision
Friendly, down-to-earth and collaborative
