About the Role
We are seeking an HR Systems Consultant to maximise the effectiveness of our government-owned client’s HR systems, with a strong focus on Workday HCM. You’ll work closely with HR teams and other departments to understand what they need and turn that into smart, practical system solutions. You will be hands on with system setup, testing, and fixing issues, plus you’ll keep things running smoothly by working with IT vendors and internal teams.
What You’ll Do
Take charge of setting up, testing, and improving the Workday HCM system to make it work best for everyone.
Chat with stakeholders to dig into their needs and translate these into clear system requirements.
Spot opportunities to automate and improve HR processes and help guide change across the business.
Manage and keep HR data accurate, safe, and easy to access.
Work closely with vendors and IT teams to keep the system updated and troubleshoot problems.
Create clear documentation and help train users so everyone feels confident using the system.
Build strong working relationships across the business to provide top-notch support.
Keep learning about new tech, industry trends, and best practices to keep our HR systems sharp.
Skills & Experience
Experience with HR systems (Workday HCM experience is a big plus).
Strong skills in gathering business requirements and turning them into practical solutions.
Good understanding of data management and IT system testing/support.
Background in business, HR, IT, or related fields preferred but not essential.
