As the businesses local HR Business Partner (Aus & NZ) you will act as a strategic partner and advisor to the local management team and headquarter HR counterparts, across the employee life cycle.
In this full-time permanent position, you will work in modern and central offices. You’ll report directly into an engaging Managing Director and have ongoing collaboration with the businesses HR Headquarters team in Hong Kong.
Main responsibilities;
... - Partner with business leaders to provide best practice HR advice aligned with overall business strategy.
- Ensure company policies are compliant with applicable laws and the Groups directives.
- Maintain trust, confidence, and appropriate confidentiality with a high level of integrity.
- Participate in various strategic HR annual exercises such as salary reviews, performance appraisals and succession planning.
To be successful in this role, you will have strong generalist experience (6+ years in a generalist role) and a deep understanding of the employee lifecycle and local legislation. You will have excellent communication and partnering skills and be comfortable operating in an autonomous environment. As this role will have two junior employees reporting to you, it would be a bonus if you are interested in coaching and mentoring junior colleagues.
