Summary
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Human Resources Business Partner to drive HR strategies and business goals. The role focuses on industrial relations, compliance, compensation, and employee wellbeing. The HR Business Partner will be instrumental in aligning HR practices with the company's strategic goals within the marine construction industry. This position requires working closely with all levels of the organisation and developing strong partnerships with key stakeholders.

They design, engineer, manage, and self-execute some of the most challenging marine projects both nationally and internationally. Responsibilities
Advise and support management on industrial relations issues, including dispute resolution and grievances, and facilitate negotiations with unions.
Maintain compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations by regularly auditing HR processes and providing timely updates to leadership on legislative changes.
Conduct salary benchmarking to ensure competitive and equitable compensation practices and oversee employee recognition programs.
Manage crew scheduling and recruitment by collaborating with project managers to address staffing needs, optimizing recruitment processes, and facilitating onboarding programs.
Oversee injury management and return-to-work processes, liaising with the HSEQ team, medical professionals, and managers.

Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; a Master's degree or HR certification is preferred.
Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and industry-specific regulations.
Proven experience in managing complex employee relations issues and driving HR initiatives.
A C-Class Driver's Licence and National Police Clearance are required.
