What you will be doing:
Advise on P&C issues, including policy development and compliance with legislation and agreements.
Work collaboratively to deliver timely, quality support to stakeholders.
Support managers with employee relations and grievance resolution aligned to legislation and values.
Drive a positive, high-performance culture through ongoing performance management and learning initiatives.
Assist with change management, restructures, remuneration reviews, and HR system enhancements.
Analyse and report on HR metrics like absenteeism, turnover, and staff surveys.
Provide advice on emerging HR issues including industrial trends, salary packaging, and benefits.
Develop and deliver HR training using adult learning principles.
Support Payroll, WHS, and other specialist areas as needed.
About You:
Strong knowledge of Industrial Relations, legislation and awards.
Skilled in negotiating and resolving workplace issues with staff, managers, unions, and external bodies.
- Experienced in designing and delivering effective training programs.
- Strong communication skills and a professional presence are highly regarded.
Current Queensland driver’s licence and willingness to travel for work.
Relevant qualifications or previous experience working as a generalist or HRBP; Certificate IV in Training & Assessment ideal but not necessary
